A quiet courtyard in summer
On a hot day, somewhere in the Mediterranean, no matter which continent, it is a refuge in a quiet stone courtyard in the old town. This place is hidden, tucked away from the city crowds. There is shade, it's cooler there, perhaps there are a couple stone benches, a few small palms in large terracotta pots, a fountain, and music playing from an open window.
