The bells from Notre Dame break the silence calling for Sunday morning service, breaking the calm and startling you for a moment.
you come back inside and grab a sweater to pull over your head, as the winter morning is sunny but still cold, but then go outside again and sit in front of the two cappuccino mugs a girl brought to your room a minute ago. you open the book and start reading.
then he comes back, messy hair and wide smile, a bag with pastries from a bakery nearby he wanted to show you to complete your breakfast in his arms.
