Sketching in City Plaza
Tucked away in a corner of the plaza, you pull out your Steno and slide the ribbon off. The notebook flops open to a heavily creased middle page, a definitive line between the crinkled and well-used pages before it and the crisp, naked pages that follow. You fumble in your bag for the small artist's kit, your fingers wrapping around the faded blue canvas and drawing it out, and with a flick of your wrist, it unfurls itself along the table. Pensive, your hand hovers over the collection of graphite and watercolor pencils. You glance ahead, taking in the bright colors of the plaza before you. Watercolor it is.
